Y/n Pov: I yawned stretching, my eyes still bleary. Groaning I sat up walking over to the kitchen smelling day-old coffee. Blech! But I don't feel like wasting yesterday's brew. I mumbled begrudgingly as I poured the drink into a small Doki Doki sister's mug and placing it in the microwave. I looked over to my cat, rolling my shoulders and smiling weary some.
"Hey Admiral, you sleep well?" The beat-up tom just slowly blinked his yellow eyes. He yowled his typical morning greeting. I smiled bending down to pet his scruff before standing back up to drink my now warm coffee. Walking over to the couch I sat down staring at my glaringly bright screen reading the email from my boss. I had to write this months hero's almanac. I sipped my coffee turning on the news letting it briefly drown out my thoughts.
Finishing my coffee I went and changed into some loose black cargo pants and a simple white crop top. Wow, today I don't look like actual trash... I stood there briefly thinking back onto last night as I slipped on my shoes. Grabbing my wallet I slipped out of my apartment.
Walking down the street I walked through the windows of various stores. I sighed wanting something to eat I popped a lollipop into my mouth halting as I approached a sweet shop. Walking into the overwhelming pastel shop I approached the counter.
"Y/N! He didn't expect you out this early, the usual right?~" Setu teased with a smirk as I nodded. She bent over grabbing a medium-sized plastic bag and put it underneath a large candy dispenser. "Ya know (nickname) for as much candy you buy you could keep this place up yourself."I chuckled sitting down watching the sour candy hearts fall into the bag.
"Har har Setu, but I doubt it." I bit my lip tiredly as I spun the lollipop.
"So n/n find that special someone to share your hoard of candy with?"

"Well I did, his name is Satori! He's great... but on that note, you've gotta have seen a cute guy recently, besides candy taste better when you share." She said in lovesick tone fluttering her captivating eyes closed.
"I'm happy for you! But not all of us are wanted or cute ." I winked at her with a smirk as she punched my arm with a giggle. I slid her a twenty and took my leave with the bag of sweets. Shaking it up bored. I decided to walk back to the forest maybe just for a mid-day picnic. Damn, I finished my lollipop... I groaned taking out my phone and playing some music.
I approached the entrance of the forest behind the playground. I stood in anticipation. My nerves acted up. I fidgeted my fingers, my mind fuzzy but in a good way. I ran in looking around. The forest was immensely dense with trees. A small building finally appeared in the distance. I stopped briefly catching my breath then started sprinting towards it. Approaching the small shed I gripped the rim of the doors and pushed them open. The rusted metal cut my hands but I wanted to know. Yellow eyes landed on me as I smirked.
"Ya look like sh*t." He spat in a calm voice.
"At least I'm not homeless! But I figured you weren't dumb enough to escape in broad daylight." I laughed approaching the fallen tree he used as a seat and sat beside him as he growled.
I simply sat in silence as I began to crunch the candy in my teeth. It was nice to have a person just to sit with. His stomach growled and his head darted towards my bag.
"Gimme!" He barked his large arms reaching for the bag as I pushed back with my legs.
"Hell no!" I yelped angrily as he fought like a feral dog. I growled and spat, "If you're that hungry I'll buy us some lunch!" He paused and merely nodded, I grunted leading him to Chebs dinner as we took the back way.
"Don't worry, people don't know what I look like they just assume I'm a martial arts student." He mumbled. I looked at him calmly, and nodded.
"So what's your name, Mr. Hero Hunter?" I teased in a friendly manner .
"Garou." He stated bluntly. Rolling my eyes I mumbled sarcastically.
"Well aren't you a card..."
Sighing I popped candy in my mouth . I looked over at him ,examining him making note of his physique. He was ripped, his hair wild and his eyes were captivating...What eww...what's wrong with me!?
I chuckled to myself as we passed the playground looking at all the kids pretend to be heroes. Garou looked that way his mouth sorta stiffened as he wore an odd expression .
"Are you attempting to smile happily?" I said shakily as I tried to stiffle a laugh. His head darted to me eyes wide as a small blush rushed to his cheeks.
"No Shadup!" He yelled flustered. I laughed loudly and punched him in the shoulder. He quickly slapped his hand over my mouth to keep them from hearing. I pushed it off and spat slightly irritated.
"Were here dumb ass!"
